About

The Puget Sound Cruising Club was formed in 1973, to bring together people interested in local and offshore cruising, sharing stories, pictures, and sailing experiences. We sail together, learn together and help each other out.

We meet at 7:30 pm at North Seattle Community College, Library building, lower level, concert hall, room LB1142, on the third Friday of each month, except July and August, when we are out cruising. For more meeting directions, see the Events page. Meetings generally consist of a short business meeting, followed by a presentation of some aspect of cruising.

A post-meeting gathering convenes at Razzi’s Pizza, located at 8523 Greenwood Avenue North.

Guests are always welcome!

If you need more help, have questions, or suggestions for the club, please send us email at info@pugetsoundcruisingclub.org.

There is a great network of cruisers at all experience levels working behind the scenes to make the club run smoothly. Please volunteer to help – you will get more out of the club than you can put in! Karen Laemmle and Rob Fox, the current Commodores, can be reached at (206) 914-0572. Thank you!

To subscribe to our PSCC email list please introduce yourself to the list manager, Don, at a PSCC meeting, and then send an email request to: puget_sound_cruising_club-subscribe@yahoogroups.com – Welcome aboard!

PSCC plans local cruises on the weekend following the meeting. These trips are generally raft-ups within easy cruising distance of Seattle, and generally involve a shared meal or two. We have a couple races every year, but there is no prize for first place. We are after all, a cruising club…

Note: PSCC proudly supports the marine research, environmental, and educational efforts of the
Ocean Watch/Around the Americas program at the Pacific Science Center.

Please support the venders and suppliers who support our club!
Check out our list of supporters on-line, and thank them when you use their services.
