With all the concern about insurance and survey requirements, I’ve asked experienced surveyor Lynne Reister, owner of LodeStar Marine Surveying and Consulting, Seattle, WA to give us a talk for the Feb. 20th meeting. She will talk about the survey process, a few common findings, and maybe even show a few pics of interesting electrical issues.
Lynne is an Accredited Marine Surveyor, a member of SAMS, (International) Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors and a Certified Marine Investigator. Starting with schooners and sail training, Lynne is sometimes known as the “woodboat whisperer”. She has mentored and taught survey courses nationally, surveyed as far away as Greece, and on all three coasts of the US and Hawaii. She has some stories. . .
