The October Port Madison Yacht Club potluck coincided with bad enough weather that everyone took the big boat, a Washington Ferry. Some folks tracked down “Pia the Peacekeeper” Troll in a Bainbridge Park. Looks like some serious pumpkin carvers! Judging by the dessert, I’m sure the potluck was delish! The ferry ride home was reported rolling. . .

Pumpkin Cruise Port Madison 10/25/25

Please join the Puget Sound Cruising Club for our Pumpkin Cruise to Port Madison, October 25th and 26th.

The club traditionally meets at the Port Madison Yacht Club clubhouse which provides a warm indoor venue for Saturday evening. Those arriving by boat can raft up in Port Madison on Saturday and there will be a potluck party in the yacht club. Directions here. In past years there has been a pumpkin carving contest as well – feel free to bring a pumpkin if you want to continue this tradition.

PSCC Meeting – October 17 with ABYC Lithium Pro Installer Sarah Scott

Please join us for our October PSCC meeting at 6:30 pm at the Puget Sound Yacht Club. Our speaker will be Sarah Scott, an experienced ABYC / Victron certified professional installer with her own company, Sarah’s Shipshape Services. Also if you would like to submit Lithium Battery questions before the meeting, please do it on the pscclist@groups.io email list a few days before the meeting.

Some folks meet for dinner at 5:00 pm at Ivar’s Salmon House, 401 NE Northlake Way, Seattle – join us if you can. Then we meet at the Puget Sound Yacht Club, 2321 N Northlake Way, Seattle at 6:30pm, just West of the Northlake public boat ramp and the hot tub boats.

Presentations start at 7pm, with a break for treats, tea or coffee. Folks bring snacks to share, and there is usually a modest fun raffle.
